God created Adam and Eve. God created the birds and the bees. So... love is in the air and let's get to talking about it. Before I begin, this is NOT a topic that I normally discuss openly, especially on a public forum. But, I do believe that it's important to normalize sex inside of marriage. I believe in the sanctity of marriage and that God ordained it to be a good thing. And whether you believe it or not, sex is a big part of intimacy. So, I'm not going to shy away from a topic that feels a little adverse for me. After all, I've promised that I would be here to write to you to inspire, equip, and empower you with joy for every season in life- and that means marriage and intimacy and romance... and since it's Valentine's month, why not?!
In this blog, you're going to get all kinds of tips and tricks on how to use oils in the bedroom!
Essential Oils
Let's cover the basics here. "Oils are... the lifeblood of a plant. They protect the plant from disease, provide nutrients and help fight off anything it doesn't want! It keeps the plant (or tree, fruit, bark, root, etc.) healthy and functioning at its best!
Essential oils should smell exactly like the plant they come from – nothing more, nothing less. Often, companies will add things like vanillin to make them smell sweeter. Do your oils smell like a plant or a dessert? If it says 100% pure but it smells sweet, chances are something else has been added. This means that the therapeutic properties are either decreased or nonexistent." -Taylor Quigg

3 Ways to Use Oils
Aromatically
Using oils aromatically, in a diffuser, is amazing for emotional support. If you need a little courage to help get you in the mood, your diffuser may just do the trick.
How to Use a Diffuser:
If you've never diffused oils before, all you have to do is get your diffuser, fill to the full line with water and then add 6 drops of oils. Most diffusers vary in size and time, so be sure to read the instructions. Some even have some really neat lighting options. If you want to get started with a diffuser, we can help you!
How to Clean:
You'll want to clean about once a week or in between strong blend changes.
Turn off and unplug your diffuser.
Wipe out the reservoir with a wet cotton cloth.
Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and clean the ultrasonic plate to remove any extra buildup.
Rinse the reservoir with water; then wipe it clean and dry up excess water with a soft cloth.
Add water and essential oils; then diffuse away!
Topically
You can apply oils to vitaflex points for the male and female reproductive systems; these vitaflex points for males is the outer left ankle. For women, it's the outer right ankle. The brain's vitaflex points are the thumb and big toe. You can also use them in other places too. No matter where you apply them, they will absorb into your bloodstream within 26 seconds and within 2 minutes reach every cell in your body.
NOTE: When using an essential oil for the first time, make sure and dilute it with a carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil, and apply it to your forearm to see how you like it before adding it to any sensitive areas. If your skin is irritated at any length either dilute the oil more or avoid that oil altogether.
Never use UNDILUTED HOT oils such as Thieves, Lemongrass, Peppermint, and Panaway, on sensitive areas. If you feel too much heat, simply apply more carrier oil to the area. - GROworkspace
Internal

Low Libido?
One of the most common sexual dysfunctions is low libido. Did you know:

So, what you can you do about it and what does this have to do with oils? We are going to help you find solutions to help get you and your partner get in the mood and increase your libido with OILS.
Do you know the cause of a low libido in your intimate life? It's essential that you find the cause and then deal with it directly. While there are several ways to deal with these causes, oils can actually help with several of these including stress, sad or anxious thoughts, and coping with trauma. A few possible reasons you could be experiencing low libido could be...
- Birth control pills - Menopause - Aging - Family problems and stress - Depression and anxiety - Trauma in your past
If you happen to be the opposite, with a high libido, diffuse or take a whiff of Marjoram oil to help you meet your spouse in the middle to help them increase theirs.
Set the Mood with Intention
Let's be for real, ladies, doesn't sex start way before we even get into the bedroom?! Most of us don't just jump right into bed ready to do the dang thing. Here are some ideas to help set the tone and get you in the mood for a little somethin' somethin' later:
Put it on the Calendar
Ok, so I know that sounds like the polar opposite of exciting and sexy, but when your schedule is crazy busy, sometimes you have to pencil in those important meetings between the sheets.
Put on Something Sexy
It's important to be intentional about our wardrobe- whether it be a little lace or lingerie, a little thoughtfulness and intention will go a long way for your man.
Talk Flirty
A simple text to your spouse saying, “Can’t wait to spend an evening alone” might be just be a pleasant surprise with a little anticipation for you both.

Edible Body Butter
- 3 Tbs solid coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp beeswax
- 1 tsp grapeseed oil
- 1/2 tsp coconut cream
- 1/2 tsp Agave
- 20 drops Grapefruit Vitality
- 10 drops Lime Vitality
Melt the beeswax and solid coconut oil. Put in the fridge to cool for 10 minutes. Add coconut cream, agave, grapeseed oil, essential oils, and whip together. Feel free to swap out citrus oils for your taste preference.
